The Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People and the Durham branch of the NAACP joined forces for voter registration and to give away school supplies at the “Stop the Violence” event sponsored by the Durham County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday afternoon (8/18/23) at the Durham County Stadium.

Angeloe Burch, Sr., president of the Durham branch of the NAACP and also religious and human affairs chair for the Durham Committee, on the left, joined Durham Committee chair Walter Jackson and second vice chair Ramirez for a photo.
